Rome is for Romans

I actually really enjoyed the BBC's and HBO's Rome. Sure, it was cheesy and glossed over some of the most important bits historically and took more than a few liberties in the name of artistic license. But it had good actors and created a world of an unquestionably different morals and beliefs. They most definitely we're not just like us.

I watched and enjoyed the season finale on HBO's On Demand last night. I hope there is a second season. Girls might call it a soap opera (like my wife did) but boys would call it a serial.

Hopefully, it will be renewed. If not it was fun while it lasted.

Long live Verenus and Titus Pullo!
